Return of MLva
This is a small 2D game created for a college event in just three days. It is inspired by the mechanics and style of the game That Level Again 2 but with its own simple twists. The idea behind this project was to make something fun and functional in a short amount of time while experimenting with basic concepts related to the theme of learning machine learning. Even though no real machine learning is implemented in the game, the levels are loosely connected to the idea of trying different approaches and learning from trial and error.
The game contains five short levels. Each one has a simple objective and a slightly different setup from the previous one. The controls are straightforward and do not require any special instructions beyond the basics. You can start playing right away without reading a long tutorial. The focus was on keeping the game light and easy to play rather than making it complex or overly challenging.
Since it was developed quickly, the design is minimal. There are no advanced animations or complicated art styles, but it still manages to deliver a complete playable experience. The entire project was built from scratch in a very short time, which means you might find some rough edges here and there. That being said, it works smoothly enough to be enjoyed in one short sitting.
This is not a highly polished commercial product. It is a short experimental game that exists mainly because of the time-limited nature of the event it was created for. The main purpose was to finish something playable within the deadline and have a small showcase to present at the college. Think of it more like a small personal project shared online rather than a full release.
You can play it directly in your browser without downloading anything. It is designed to run on most modern devices with no extra setup. The levels do not require long play sessions and can be completed fairly quickly. If you feel like taking a short break and trying something made with limited time and resources, this is a good option.
Just press play, go through the levels at your own pace, and enjoy the simple mechanics. There is no pressure to achieve high scores or complete it in a certain way. It is meant to be played casually, without overthinking, and finished in a single sitting.
